Maybe Clooney's had plastic surgery and maybe he hasn't. I have not
yet seen the interview but will admit that I recorded it, regardless
of the fact that I've usually hated most Oprah Made for TV Specials. I
just have to interject as someone who's parents LOVED Rosemary Clooney
the whole time I was growing up. He's got the same little lines under
his eyes *currently* that his aunt had for much of her adult life. His
cousin Miguel Ferrer's got 'em, too.
If Clooney's had a tummy tuck or a facial peel or various rounds of
Micro Dermabrasion to give him a healthy glow or something, so be it,
but I'd bet my right lung that George has had no face *lift* or under-
eye surgery. Doesn't look like he's engaged in any Botox either. He
actually seems to be aging and showing it (and pretty well, I might
add) a lot better than many other Hollywood actors his age.
He kind of reminds me of a Male version of Diane Keaton or Jane
Curtin . He's fine with the fact that he's going grey, he relies
HEAVILY on his dry wit to charm people and he just sort of gets BETTER
with age. I've never been too keen on his politics, but he actually
looks *BETTER* than he did as a gangly, poofy haired younger man way
back in the day when he appeared on shows like "Sisters" and "The
Facts of Life". This one's aged well naturally and the fact that he's
such a straight faced practical joker and has no qualms about
admitting it is perhaps the sexiest thing about him. Next to Robt.
Downey Jr., when interviewed, he's perhaps got the best, most spot on
dry wit in all of show business and I actually look forward to his
interviews. He's unrelenting snide and unapologetically catty and it's
absolutely charming because he does so without coming across as
snobbish or rude.
