Oh, don't blame most of them. What is going on is that people reply to a post they see on their newsgroup and simply don't notice what it is cross posted to. Sometimes, you might check the newsgroups when you first see a post on a new thread and then after a few more posts someone adds another newsgroup. On other threads, I've replied to a post and carefully trimmed the newsgroups to keep the reply on topic, and then someone replied to me and added the other newsgroups back in.

It's the people who are adding the newsgroups that need to be told to get a life.
